Steven Fogelman, LPC, CADC III, MAC, NCAC II
Clinical Director
Steven Fogelman is the Owner/Director of Kolpia Counseling Services, Inc. Steve has practiced in the field of Chemical Dependency and Mental Health since 1976. Steve has directed the operations of numerous outpatient treatment programs for adolescents and adults. He is an Oregon Licensed Professional Counselor, an Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III, a Masters Addiction Counselor, as well as a Nationally and Internationally Certified Addictions Counselor.
Steve’s specialities include working with couples, teens with Asperger’s Syndrome, gambling, eating disorders, depression and anxiety. Steve is trained in and utilizes the Stages of Change model to identify and focus on motivational issues in a person’s life.
Steven Fogelman is a Substance Abuse Professional and is also a trained interventionist having conducted over 100 successful interventions with families struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
Loren Fogelman M.Ed, CADC I
Therapist
Loren Fogelman is the co-owner of Kolpia Counseling. Her education includes a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Community Counseling. In addition, she is an Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has an advanced certification as an EFT practitioner. Since 1984, Loren has been working as a therapist. Her experience includes Mental Health units in hospital settings, schools, residential and outpatient treatment programs.
Loren is the primary therapist in our Ashland office and coordinate the Professional’s Program. She provides counseling and support for adults, couples and families. Her interests and specialties include addictions, chronic conditions, trauma, and spirituality. Loren’s goal is to help people reach their peak potential, whether personally, professionally or in sports performance.
“Part of my approach to counseling involves energy work using the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is the most effective, gentle, yet rapid method for personal growth I have ever found.” Maintaining a sense of safety while working on issues is a priority. Betty Camner - CADC I
Adolescent Counselor
After raising her daughters in Ashland, Oregon Betty returned to school to become a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor specializing in working with adolescents.Since then she has developed a Life Skills/Alcohol and Drug Education Program for teens.
Betty has been working in the Drug and Alcohol field since 2000, but her focus and passion is working with adolescents. Betty and the staff at Kolpia believe that within every child is the potential for greatness.
Betty Camner has been working with teens since 1989. She organized and co-facilitated Natural Helpers retreats, organized and helped develop a Big Sister/Big Brother Program, was part of the organizational team that developed the first ‘Fresh Start Retreat’ at Ashland High School, backup team member for ‘True Colors’ (a five day personal growth seminar for teens), as well as guest speaker and presenter on such topics as building self-esteem, nicotine awareness and the power of choice.
Kathryn Reppond; RYT 500 Yoga Alliance, Yoga Therapy Ananda Seva, Movement Integration Techniques, Polestar Pilates Mat Instructor.
Kathryn’s practice spans 30 plus years. She became interested in yoga as a dancer and has trained in Integral, Iyengar, Kripalu and Structural Yoga Therapy systems, combining all of these into her unique format. As facilitator of special population classes, she works in such areas as addiction recovery, rehabilitation, and older adult. She welcomes all abilit levels in her classes.
Tiffany Young- CDCII, BS
Counselor
Tiffany graduated from Southern Oregon State College in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science in Social Science with an emphasis in psychology and criminology. She became a certified drug and alcohol counselor in 2004. Tiffany has an extensive background working in the addiction and criminal justice field as well as working with domestic violence victims. Tiffany has previously worked for several years at a residential treatment facility for adolescents, as a drug and alcohol counselor, working with Native American youth. Tiffany’s specialty is working with at-risk youth with dual-diagnosis disorders.
Tiffany believes that you should meet the client where they are at in regards to their motivation to change their addiction and behaviors. In order to make changes in behavior, there must be changes made in the thinking process.
Tiffany is a certified Breaking Barriers facilitator, as well as specializing in criminal thinking, generational trauma, grief and loss, dual-diagnosis, crisis-intervention and relapse prevention.
When not serving clients, Tiffany enjoys fishing, camping, golfing, watching sports and spending time with family.
Graham Collins
Graham Collins earned his Masters in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and has over ten years of experience working with adults, teens, families, and couples in both residential and out-patient settings. In his psychotherapy practice, Graham creates a safe, open space for clients’ self-exploration, growth and change. He works with people around habitual life patterns that could be causing difficulty. Graham specializes in issues of depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, relationship difficulties, anger management, PTSD, addictions and life transitions. He also has extensive experience working with adolescents that are struggling with significant emotional, behavioral, and legal issues.
Graham has also worked for many years providing wilderness and adventure-based therapy and has worked as a facilitator of therapeutic adventures for youth, adults, families and school programs through one-day programs up to month-long expeditions. Graham is passionate about experiential learning and seeks to bring a dynamic element into his compassionate approach.
Graham shares his life with his wife and two children and loves to travel and play on the rivers and lakes of Southern Oregon. He is available for a free initial consultation
Katherine Warner M.S., CADC-III
A native of Southern Oregon, Katherine Warner has many years of experience in addiction and mental health counseling that has been combined with ongoing education. Kathy has been involved in addiction counseling since 1988 and currently holds a masters level addiction counseling certification. Her specialization has evolved with her continued education to dual diagnosis counseling. Kathy’s masters degree is from Southern Oregon University, in the Mental Health Track and is a licensable degree in Oregon. Kathy is currently working on her doctoral dissertation and the focus on her current work is on Juvenile bipolar disorder.
Kathy has worked with adolescents, families, individuals and people with chronic mental illness. Her specialties include dual diagnosis, psychological testing, mood and bipolar disorder. Kathy utilizes mindfulness, motivational therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques in her work with clients.
Although doctoral work is currently consuming much of her free time, Kathy enjoys hiking, rock hunting, gardening and family activities.
Terri Hagstrom L.C.S.W.
Terri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon, and holds a master's degree from Michigan State University. She has been a psychotherapist since 1972 and specializes in Dual Diagnosis treatment. She enjoys Jungian and Gestalt theories, with an emphasis on spirituality and mindfulness. She will supportively guide you on your path to recovery.
Cheryl Kolevzon, LCSW
Cheryl began her Social Work education at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. During her Bachelor's program she completed an internship at the Center for Group Counseling, also in Boca Raton. After completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree at FAU she went on to achieve her Master of Social Work degree at Florida International University in North Miami Beach in 1988, during which time she worked as an intern at the Ft. Lauderdale Vietnam Veteran Readjustment Counseling Center and was honored by having one of her research projects on "Children Who Batter Their Parents" presented at a national Social Work conference. She graduated with honors from both FAU and FIU. Cheryl has been in private practice in both Florida and Oregon, securing her professional Social Work license in Florida in 1993 and then in Oregon in 1994.
In addition to private practice Cheryl has been employed as a social worker in child protective services, in hospice care and at an internationally known residential treatment program for adolescent and adult females with eating disorders, known as the Renfrew Center. She has also worked at a day treatment program for severely emotionally disturbed children and, most recently, as a medical social worker with a variety of hospital populations but primarily in the Emergency Department. Cheryl has been a member of a countywide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team in Southern Oregon and is a local provider of critical incident intervention services for the Crisis Care Network. She has provided services to children, adolescents and adults in her professional capacities as therapist for individuals, couples, families and groups. Cheryl has also served as a trainer for volunteers for a telephone crisis line and with a parent mentoring program to prevent child abuse. She has worked in an educational capacity with misdemeanor offenders in an early intervention program contracted with the courts.
Cheryl currently is a therapist in both our Medford and Ashland offices. She works with a general client population but has particular interest in the areas of relationship/marital issues, domestic violence, multiple forms of loss (including traumatic, divorce, health, job and pet loss), existential distress and Values Clarification.
When not acting in her role as social worker Cheryl devotes her time to her variety of pets and has actually worked in the past at Lion Country Safari, as a manager of a boarding stable and for a local animal shelter. She is also an avid lover of theater, particularly musical theater and has a special interest in the use of films and music as vehicles for therapeutic intervention. She is a contributing member of the National Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.
